Wedding woes

Is it healthy to loose 15-20 lbs in 5 weeks? I'm cutting out everything processed, eating a rainbow everyday, tons of fish and chicken, lowering my carb intake and drinking about 100 oz. of water a day.. I lift weights 4 days a week and do cardio 6 days a week... Is it possible if I stay in this diet I could loose the weight in a healthy way. Other than yesterday (my cheat day) I've consumed 1200 calories a day. I have to fit in a bridesmaid dress in a few weeks and I'd like to drop the excess weight.

You want to lose 4 lbs a week to fit in a dress for a wedding that's not even your wedding? Zoiks
We really don't metabolize more than two lbs of fat a week period. You could dehydrate yourself some too. Beyond that your body will just compromise muscle mass and bone density. So you still think healthy muscle and bone is worth giving up for a brides maid dress you'll probably never want to be caught dead in after this wedding? LOL

I'm flying home for the wedding and haven't seen these people in a long time...I've put on about 20lbs since starting a new job and I'd really like to get it off before I go.. I dropped 6lbs last week by cutting out soft drinks and sweet tea and making smarting eating choices... I just didn't know if I could stay at that pace over a long period of time..

Between 1 to 2 pounds a week is realistic and healthy. :)
