I'm 46, maintain my weight on 2100-2300 calories a day ( I'm very active and I strength train)
When I was in losing phase I lost 1/2lb per week on 1800 gross cals.0 -
Whatever I want and a lot of walking.
I lost 121 lbs between weight watchers and mfp just staying within my point or calorie goal.
And you'd best believe I ate my exercise calories back.0 -

41 years old.
I eat food that fits my calorie goal. Walking and a moderate amount of other exercises. I'm not "in shape" yet but I'm better than I was a year ago

I'm turning 40 later this year! I lost 80 pounds on my own by calorie counting in my mid-30's and next month is my 3rd year maintenance anniversary.
I basically eat what I want. I just plan my meals out in advance the night before and I'm mindful of my portion sizes, the calories and macros.
Regarding staying in shape I am very active and do something everyday. I powerwalk/jog 25+ miles a week, I lift weights, do Pilates and barre type workouts, exercise dvds (Leslie Sansone + Beachbody) and Youtube workouts (Jessica Smith/Fitness Blender/Blogilates mainly) and I enjoy ice skating and playing tennis as well.
When I was losing I ate almost all of my calories back. I lost my weight on the slower side, but it has made maintaining my weight a lot easier.0 -
Focusing on plants. Lots of fruits and veggies.
High cabs such as lentils, beans, barley.
Over 50. Open diary.
Gave up red meat.
At least 1 chocolate a day !
Food scale - best $20 I ever spent in my life.
5'2 - 1380 calories a day.0 -
I'll be 41 in June and I eat a mostly vegetarian diet. I live on 3 1/2 acres and grow just about all of my own produce, plus we have chickens so we've got fresh eggs (great protein source there!). I've always been very active and outdoorsy so that's helped me maintain a healthy weight. I enjoy working out and usually do a different video (or 2) on YouTube every day. I lift weights and do a variety of aerobic exercises. Plus I walk the dogs every day, and since we live in the mountains a simple "walk around the block" is actually a 40 minute hill climbing hike0

I am 39.75. I eat normal food. Veggies, fruit, meat, dairy. Plenty of protein and fat with some carbs thrown in. I lift weights 4 days a week and walk every day.0

I'm 44 and eat a moderate amount of just about everything. I keep carbs on the lower side, but that's about it. I was keeping them to under 100g, but have upped them to 125ish grams now.
For exercise I do lots and lots of walking.0 -
I love being over 40, am much happier than in my 20s or 30s, on the whole.
I eat a pretty healthful diet but also whatever I want, and I am really active (training for triathlons and messing around with Oly lifting).0
