How many calories do you think I burned?

I did the Jillian Michaels Kickboxing DVD!!! It's a tough one. I did the entired thing which is a little over 30 minutes of complete cardio. For the jumping rope and jumping jacks part I didn't really jump but I bounced on my feet. I worked up quite a sweat and when I finished there I did some leg lifts and crunches. I don't know how to calculate that as far as calories burned but I know I burned some in fact, I think I singed some. LOL
I haven't worked up a sweat like that in years!!! Jillian Michaels is tough!!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The DVD didn't provide you with any information? I bet it was a energetic out and then you take your weight in consideration and you've probably burned a good 500+.

Do some googling and see if it comes up with anything.

Hmmmm, I wish I could tell you an exact site to go to but I haven't done the research yet. I have seen certain sites that give you a list of common exercises (like jumping rope) and the calories burned for each one. If you want something long term, though, get yourself a heart rate monitor that also calculates calories burned...I think that would be the most accurate. Sorry couldn't be of more help but that is AWESOME that you completed that DVD. She is a tough lady! So, if you got your heart pumping you are sure to have burned many a calorie.

P.S. I love your new word, "entired"

I have the same dvd...you are right, it is a tough workout. I entered it under kickboxing for 30 min. (I think it said i burned 300 calories) I was not sure if that was right or not but i figured it was close enough.

Thanks. Have you done the other ones, the Frontside and the Backside. I did the backside one but when I tried the Frontside I got really sick feeling, I don't think I waited long enough after eating dinner. I haven't tried it again yet. Kinda scared!!! LOL I really like the kickboxing one!!!!
