Hello! I am 5 weeks out from a hysterectomy. I'm 25 years old, have survived thyroid cancer and would really love some friends in similar situations to support each other.

I lost a ton of weight prior to my hysterectomy 10 years ago. Unfortunately, I listened to all the hype. Everyone told me that my hormones would be all screwed up, my metabolism would slow down and I would pack on the weight.

Yup, I did. I started feeling sorry for myself (I was young-43 at the time ) stopped trying, stopped working out and packed on the weight. I gave up on myself.

Well, not any more. 10 down, 50 pounds to go. I'm a month into this, will have a knee replaced in 2 months and I am on fire!

There isn't anything that you can't accomplish. You got this.
