Women with C sections!

I had my daughter a little over a year ago via emergency C section. I never thought it would happen to me, but it did. I'm having a hard time actually talking to someone that has gotten a nice, flat body after recovering from a C section. I'm looking to see if it's actually possible to have a flat stomach again, without that pouch/crease

Yes it is possible. You will get there if that is where you started. I had the pooch before my babies were born, and am still working it off. My best friend still has a 6 pack after her twins were born 4 years ago. It's completely possible.

I had a Hysterectomy in 1979. Was cut across tummy just like in a C section. I can't get rid of the pooch! The doctor said that all the nerves and muscle have been damaged. :'(<3

I think it really depends. I've had 2 C-sections, but also had a BMI of 44 after my first C-section so my lower abdomen has loose skin/possibly some fat still thing going on right at the point of the scar. I'm losing a couple more vanity pounds to see if it will shift any and going to try recomp for a year. If after that I'm still not happy with how it looks I'm going to look into surgery to have it fixed.

I had a C-section but never had a flat tummy before that. I am losing belly fat but I'm not sure if my stomach will ever be flat. I have no feeling around the area of my C-section scar and it's been almost 5 years, so that might play into my ability to lose all of my belly fat (idk - I'm not an expert). That said, I do know others who have had c-sections and have 6 packs so I'd say it's possible for some!

I had twins via c-section in 2012 and 3 other pregnancies before that. My stomach isn't flat yet but I'm loving the progress I've been making with strength training. Started off with hand weights and fitness blender youtube videos and have since moved on to stronglifts 5x5

I had a csection with full term twins and I still have a pooches however I am not at my ideal weight. I can see my abs up top though. Weight training and deficit should give you good results

I had a c-section but I don't have a pooch. I was active until SPD kicked in at 6 months, walking hurt but at least I was able to bike for as long as I did. I was also careful about what I ate, but it helped that I didn't have cravings. And I had very strong abs well before pregnancy.

As far as I know, the pooch you get from a c-section is permanent unless you get a tummy tuck.

I think it depends on genetics, yes it is quite possible to get a thin tummy. Personally for me I have always had a pooch since my first c-section and my belly kind of hangs now, it got 10x worse after the 2nd csection.

I was very active before having a my daughter via c-section almost 2 years ago. After the baby is when I gained weight due to maternity leave, but kicked into fitness mode 4 months after and haven't stopped since. I don't have the c-section pooch any longer but it took a lot of dedication to get rid of. I workout 5-6 days a week and have a pretty well rounded diet with lots of protein and vegetables and i don't really drink anything other than water (and wine lol).

I had an emergency c/s 8 years ago with my son. My stomach is completely flat now, but that being said...my stomach has never been a trouble area for me. Also, my son was a 28-week preemie, so I didn't get that big to begin with!

I still have about 40 pounds or so to lose, but I have never really had a pooch, or whatever you call it. I had a c section almost 11 years ago. My stomach is the area where I hold most of my weight, but it is all above the scar. Three years ago, I lost a bunch of weight and my stomach shrunk, but I never lost enough for it to be completely flat before I gained it all back.
