How to tell you've lost weight without scales?

I love everybody's posts on here and am always reading the discussions.
HOWEVER, I haven't weighed in years (and I'm definitely not ready to yet), I usually know I've put weight on by my clothes.

Has anyone got any different/quirky ways to tell they've lost weight without scales?

I'd love to hear them (until I'm ready to step on the dreaded scales)

If the chair don't groan, I've lost weight.

If I can suddenly do a bunch more pullups, I've lost weight.

Measuring tape. I measure every other week. (Some people prefer to do it monthly)

Pictures. Once every 30 days or so I take a picture and compare it to the previous months.

I'll second the measuring tape. More accurate than the scales which can fluxuate with so many things.

I dont weigh myself either, I just pinch in various areas checking for body fat. Just looking in the mirror can also tell how the level of definition is.

That's a good idea. I never thought about that.
