All of the above but I would also add Sadness by Lisa Gerrard, the theme to Man On Fire.
She is an angel of a woman.

Dazed and Confused soundtrack(s) were always pretty good. Purple Rain soundtrack and the Batman 1989 Prince soundtrack were both good, because Prince.

    Xanadu
    Moulin Rouge
    Labyrinth
    Harold and Maude
    The Muppet Movie (1979)

I can't remember any good scores that haven't been mentioned. Sometimes the music from Requiem for a Dream comes on my Pandora and gives me instant nausea.

There's a lot I could list but I'm just gonna throw out The Prince of Egypt soundtrack. I feel like a lot of people forgot about that movie and that it's way underrated, it has a really good soundtrack for an animated movie.

Edit to add another animated movie soundtrack lol: Tarzan

I have the wedding singer sound track! Also, Mama Mia, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Avenue Q and Book of Mormon. They all have a few spots on my workout playlist.

Right now I am feeling really *kitten* about how I haven't been running as much as I should, instead have been eating way too much so this was a good topic to get my mind off of that, Hans Zimmer is pretty dramatic, but I also love the soundtrack for The Red Violin. I'll have to check out some of your suggestions, and listen with an open mind! New music has its way of taking my mind on or off of things.. we'll see how it goes.

The soundtrack for the recent time travel movie Synchronicity is a beautiful and haunting noir style group of pieces that reminds me of the cityscapes in Blade Runner
