Pretty much what it says on the title. I recent did this recipe (http://sallysbakingaddiction.com/2013/11/04/whole-wheat-oatmeal-pancakes/) and it tasted awesome. I read that it's possible to sub sugar in baking recipes with mashed banana so does anyone have any ideas I could swap the brown sugar in the pancakes out?

Try it and see. I typically don't add sugar--I'll add some kind of berry sauce on top if not syrup, so that's sweet enough, the pancakes don't need to be--so I don't see why bananas wouldn't work fine. Sounds tasty.0

Nope. But that's because I don't like bananas in things. Try it and see if you like it.0

I frequently use mashed bananas instead of sugar. For me, it works great.0

Use this:
1 cup of flour
300ml (fullfat/lowfat) milk
1 egg
Stir
Put it in the pan
Cut a banana
Put the pieces in the middle
Bake til brown and fold both sides over the banana.
Flip, brown it, serve

Agreed, they don't need any sugar. The banana should work but it's not necessary.0
