So I went to see a trainer today and he told me that I need to eat 1800 calories a day as well as excercise 3 days a week for an hour. I have been eating 1200 a day and excercising 4 days and am just fine with that. The thought that he wants me to consume 600 extra calories than I am used to makes me very nervous. It also makes me nervous to go against his suggestion!! Why can't weight loss just be easy!

I would talk to your doctor.

Maybe he just wants to switch up things for a little while, so that your body doesn't get in a rut? He might plan on taking you back down after a few days/weeks.
