Hi my name is Lori I am trying to get my MOJO back and get back to my goals that I have set for myself. I am a busy mom going to school in the day and work as a CA in a hospital at night. I find it hard to exercise and to eat right. I sleep all day and wake up around 530 get ready for work and never have time to make myself food. So I eat vending machine food not healthy at all. Workin overnight I find myself eating only once a night. I need some tips on what foods I should eat overnight. I walk alot at work so that is some form of exercise. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lori, You know exactly what you have to do, some of the foods that maybe you can keep in a baggie and carry around with you for snacking is mini carrots, maybe plain unsalted raw almonds.

Let's get your Mojo back!! My work schedule makes it really difficult to eat right and on time so I decided to go with nutri system just because most of it is ready made if not microwaveable and it makes it a lot more convinient for me!

Focus on why you are doing it, and how you want to feel.
Prep your food is key make it before you got to bed or just before you leave. Make sure you do it when not Hungary as you'll make better choice's. Make a nice salad or a wrap/pitta take some fruit with you and drink water. I now leave money at home so I cannot go to the shop.

First let me say, you have a lot going on with your schedule, and its tough I bet. Do you have access to a microwave? I would find a day that you can cook up some meals to put in your freezer and take to eat on your breaks. Maybe a big pans worth of chicken (no skin on it, I buy the frozen raw tenders). Soak in some fat free Italian dressing and cook up either in pan or oven. Get a scale and weigh your food is the best way. Portion out 3-4 oz of the chicken into ziplock baggies. Then cook up some hearty wild rice in some low sodium chicken stock and add a portions worth to the cooked chicken baggies, (I usually make mine individually so for me its 1/3 cup of dry rice into veggies with a tsp of Better than Boullion chicken flavor 2 cups of water). Don't settle for eating vending machine crap. You are worth more than that friend.
