I've read the rda for fat is 30% of your cals (or apparently approx 65g) What thoughts do people have on this, eg what is the lowest others feel they need to stay healthy and what do they feel their max is?

I am usually at 50 grams on days when I am not eating meat.0

The number I've heard bandied about most often is .4-.65 grams per pound of lean body mass as a minimum.
I'm at 100grams per day because I can be, it's satisfying to me, and doesn't put me over total calories.0 -
Percentage can vary with total calorie need/intake. I'm on 70-100 grams most days. I blame the low fat craze/scare for much of my cravings and overweight

I don't want to go low fat, I'm just a little worried as my % is low but on the above calculation I think I'm having plenty (approx 45g a day btw)0
