Hope for belly fat?

I've been in a weight loss program that includes phentermine & Lipoplex shots. I've been doing it for 2 months and have lost 15 pounds. This summer I'm really going to tackle it by exercising daily (along w/improving my eating habits, as I've been doing).
I'm most concerned about belly fat. It's my biggest problem, and I know it's going to take work to improve. I've already lost inches around my waist and am psyched about my progress, but I guess I'd just like to hear from other women who've had success losing the belly fat. What worked the best for you? How long did it take? For me, I know cutting out processed foods is probably my biggest hurdle.

Cardio, strict food intake and dark chocolate (of all things). I am only one pound to my goal weight and I still have some belly fat. It started shrinking when I was about 15 pounds away from my goal. But it was a very noticeable difference at about 5 pounds away from my goal. I may bump my goal down a couple of pounds if the belly fat is still there after I lose the remaining pound. But it is really only noticeable to me at this point. Just keep working on it and it will eventually go down. But it is the hardest to lose and usually the last to go.0

I should mention that I'm 5'2" and that taller people will most likely see results sooner than I did.0

1) I got away from processed carbs. 2) I started doing all body aerobic core exercises and some ab/core focused exercises. Only with this combination did I finally loose my stubborn belly fat! I have flat abs for the first time ever.
I would say stay active, focus on your core and be conscious about processed foods and carbs. Eat plenty of natural/organic veggies, fruits and meats. Also, stay away from all processed sugar snacks.
Good Luck.0 -
Cardio, cardio, cardio! I can't stress that enough. You can only lose belly fat and other stubborn fat by cardio and plenty of water. You can look at my pictures on my profile and see. Good luck to you0
