I just dont get y its so hard to find someone with the drive that i have in the gym. I have been looking for someone to workout with for almost 2 years now. Some people dont think that working out alone is that bad at all and no ur right but if u think about it, how can up push urself to ur max without someone there to pick u up?

What state are you in?0

Yeah. I stopped looking. No one I've attempted with can keep up with me. It sucks1

part of the regular meatheads at my gym so we just push and scream at each other whilst reping but no, other than that can't train with anyone - heavy metal full blast is what keeps me going!1

I'm lucky I have 2 awesome workout partners! We train together 4 times a week usually. The competitiveness between us is fantastic and the encouragement helps a lot.
For cardio, I go it alone and prefer it that way. Less distraction and it's my time to just zone out.1 -

I would work out with you, but I don't even know you. I don't know where you live, what your name is, if you're cool to be around, but most importantly, if you can even lift as much as me.0 -
I tried working out with a girlfriend from work, I couldnt do it. I am all about pushing myself and she just wanted to chat. So I had to move my gym time to avoid hurting her feelings.0

I like to workout by myself... actually I like to do most things by myself... I like it because I can do what I want how I want to and I don't have to hold a conversation w/ someone and/or make sure they're "happy" as well...
I need to concentrate on what I need/want to do for me and I can't do that w/ others around...0 -

Exactly this!
If you want to work out w/ me, cool... but keep your mouth shut and let me do my thing, LOL!0 -
I enjoy working out by myself, but wouldn't mind working out with a partner if I could find one with the same (well, I'd settle for any) drive. My latest "workout partner" is pretty much always too hungover and when she does make it, really just wants to socialize.0

I have a work out partner we arrive together and leave together. That's really all I need from her just to know she's there. We might hold a how's it burning convo for a few seconds but I have crime to fight in Gotham city so I gotta hit the gym and I need to focus2

Yeah i get that but thats the difference between men and women in the gym lol women use the time to gossip and catch up with each other you guys on the other hand use the gym time to lift and do work. Well at least that's what I noticed at my gym LOL0 -

That's a shity workout partner sorry to say but a workout partner needs to be somebody do you push to go to the gym when they don't want to go and who pushes you to go to the gym when you don't want to go. Needs to be somebody who you can rely on and that's really hard to find0 -

My best friend and I have a healthy competitiveness that drives us. We both value our time at the gym so there's no worry if the other one wont show.1

I workout with my boy. We both are kinda obsessed with the gym so it's cool. Pushing each other to the limits. He is more gym and I'm more run so I push him running and he pushes me in the gym.1

My schedule is too weird for a swolemate, so I'll pop into classes run by trainers I know. They know how much I can handle and beat the hell outta me.0

You laugh but I had to get up at 330 am to be at the gym for 400 in order to miss her.0
