Im a 22 year old female, I started at 22 stone 7, 18 months later I am 8 stone 2. I am 5ft6 and my bmi says i should be between 8 stone 3 and 11 stone 1. I have now been diagnosed with anorexia even though I am hardly underweight due to how much weight I have lost and how little i eat. I have not had a period in 8 months, i have low protein levels and my kidney function is not very well! I also have low blood sugar and low blood pressure. I have my first aappointment with an eating specialist on Friday and I'm so scared about going but also really looking forward to getting the help I need. It has damaged my confidence, relationship with friends and family, social life. This is just my journey and to make people aware of how quickly dieting can get hold of you. If someone would of told me 18 months ago when I was 22 stone 7 that in a year and a half you will be anorexic I would of laughed in their faces! If anyone has been through anything like this or even just want tosupport me please feel free to add me!

So sorry Hun, hope you get the help you need and get better. Just goes to show the whole process of losing weight can be just as addictive as the eating.1

Sorry to hear about that - I suffered the same ordeal back in 2012 when I was 17. Dieting really can become an obsession to the point where it becomes a genuine problem - after I recovered I actually developed BED (binge eating disorder) so I've been on both ends of disordered eating. I really hope you get the appropriate help and that you can recover from this. I've sent you a friend request, I hope you don't mind!0
