Should I start using the treadmill?

So I've been doing cardio exercises by utilizing the cross ramp, elliptical (that bouncy one which I forgot the name), arc trainer, etc. I usually put the resistance extremely high, just so I'm getting an adequate workout. As of lately, of been thinking of trying the treadmill. I tend to stay away from it because I have very bad knees and a few years ago I tripped and literally flew off of it. Should I give it another try? Or should I just do alternatives?

Depends if you have bad knees you are better off running outside on a padded track.

try a short stint at a slow speed and see how you feel the next day.I can't get my heart rate high enough on ellipticals but on a treadmill i can get in the upper zones really quickly.

Make sure you strike mid-foot and you'll be fine.

Exactly! I have to put the elliptical on such a high level to have my heart rate increase. Good idea though thank you!
