Weight training

I have just done 30min of weight training with running on the spot in between for 60 steps so around 30 seconds between reps of 10.

I entered it into mfp and it only comes out at 80 calories. Would this be correct? How can i actually gage the calories im out sourcing while doing weights?

yeah that could be about the right amount of calories burned. weight training isnt' a big calorie burner. and running for 30 seconds between sets isn't gonna accumulate to too much. but if you do this several times a day , it will start to add up.

Describe in more detail what you're doing with those weights. This may be something that fits into "circuit training" a lot more than traditional weight work.

Hi hill8570 its a at home gym so i fo 3 x 10 set of the following:
    Chest press at 15kg
    Chest flyers at 15kg
    Leg press at 30kg
    Leg extension at 5kg
    Rowing at 15kg
    Lateralpull down at 15kg

Then bicep curl with 3kg weights and tricep extensions with 3kg weights

U will be buying 5kg weights soon. I dont use the gym machine for them as it makes me feel awkward

If that work was done with minimal rest (so heart rate is elevated and stays elevated), I'd call it some sort of circuit training.
