Hi, I was just wondering how you all go about this. I've just not marinated my piece of chicken and use other easier to calculate seasonings, but I was wondering if anyone regularly marinated their chicken or other meats and knew a good way to calculate this. Or if just not doing it when I can help it is the better way? Thanks!

If you put the marinade in the recipe builder, you should be able to weigh what's left at the end after marinating, so you know how much has actually soaked into your meat. Or be lazy like me and log a portion of the marinade.0

That's a good idea. Thanks!0

I dont even bother. The meat doesnt really soak up oil...the mix of oil and vinegar or lemon in a,marinade is to create a chemical process to break down the meat to tenderize it.
You need an acid and an alkaline.
And you arent eating the marinade so whatever did soak into the meat isnt even significant enough to track.
