Is this normal

I started about 3 months ago and this is the second time this has happened so I don't know if this is just my weight loss cycle if that's a thing.

I'll maintain at one weight for about 3 weeks and get pretty frustrated. Then I'll lose like a lb a day for 4 or 5 days in the 4th week then maintain that for the next three weeks not gaining or losing. I know it's not healthy to lose 5lbs in a week but if it averages out is this normal?

Yes it is normal. I called these weight whooshes.. You eat at your deficit for normally, and then you loose weight all of a sudden. It could be 2 -4 or pounds pounds in one day, or spread out over several days. I loose all of my weight like this.

Yes, absolutely normal for some people. Some people just lose weight via whooshes. Accept it  After a few of those you will know when a whoosh is due by feeling like a rubber balloon filled with water. Well. basically a bit squishy. Only downside of this for me was several nighttime pees for a night or two. :/

Perfectly normal. Particularly for women, I think hormones can have a lot to do with it. My weight loss was exactly the same as yours. A pound a day for a week, and then bouncing around the same number the rest of the month.

I've been doing this the last month or so. It's very frustrating. I figure it is because I'm so close to my goal weight now and have less to lose that it's happening to me. I've been trying to change things up a bit this week to see if I see a difference soon.

It's frustrating during those few weeks but then when the pounds just seem to melt off it feels awesome! Swings and roundabouts I suppose

Everyone loses weight differently. You just have to learn how your body works. For example, I tend to maintain weight for ~6 days, and then have a drop in weight on the last day. Lot's of things influence this, so don't get frustrated. Like you said, you have big losses on the 4th week, so you are making progress. Know it's coming and embrace it. As long as you're being consistent in nutrition and exercise, keep on rocking!

Let me represent your normalness with my previous 90 days...
