Coffee creamer suggestions

I absolutely adore my French vanilla creamer in the morning. So much that usually my breakfast count is 200 cal for only my coffee (drinking it at home and work) Any suggestions on what to use so my calorie count isn't as high?

    Creamer isn't a thing here so I don't know what it's actually like but have you tried vanilla flavoured coffee (moccona etc) with just milk?

    You could probably mix up some of your own. Hang on to your current container when its empty, and refill with some combination of half and half or cream, almond or coconut milk, vanilla, and a healthy sweetener like turbinado sugar, honey, or stevia if you can stand it. I don't like the flavor of it, but lots of people like it just fine. Anyway, that should probably be just as good, and you wont get the weird additives of the other stuff. Hope that helps!:)

    Have you tried that vanilla Moccona? It's disgusting!

    Creamer is not a thing in Aus either, but OP, have you tried adding vanilla to a regular milky coffee?
    You know, the vanilla extract you buy for baking. If that's the flavour you enjoy, then I'd get experimenting.

    I do fat free half in half and then a tiny bit of sugar (like 1/2 a teaspoon). That definitely helps bring the calories down! Otherwise almond milk is probably a great choice as well!

    I was same as you - addicted to the Bailey's coffee creamer! In an attempt to reduce my sugar intake, I switched over to brewing coffee with a little bit of cinnamon (do you make your own coffee at home?) and then using just a splash or 2 of real cream. Its weird but the cinnamon makes it so that you don't even need any type of sugar/sweetness. I also really like the SO brand coconut creamer, it comes in hazelnut and french vanilla - both are really good, but I don't know if the calories are any better.

    Limit creamer use to one cup of coffee, and drink the rest black. Good black coffee is wonderful. Use a French press or try espresso.

    I found that when I switched to better coffee I didn't need the flavored creamers and could get by with a serving of regular half & half. I think the taste of fat free half & half is awful. One 2 Tbsp serving of real half & half is only 40 calories with 3 grams of fat and 1 gram of sugar (naturally occurring lactose). I'm down to the point now that I can usually get by with 1/2 serving for a normal sized cup of coffee and will occasionally drink it black but it has to be really good coffee for that!

    I use SO Delicious coconut creamer or Silk Almond creamer with 1 packet of truvia... They have different flavors of the creamer. Really good.

    In the past I've tried to cut back on the amount of sweetener I used in my coffee. But I found that when I was stressed or tired, or the weather was crummy, I would have a heavier hand with my sugar & creamer. It was so easy to backslide. So now I just measure it and that's what goes in. One 'teaspoon' (just an office spoon, not an actual measuring spoon) of sugar and 3 'teaspoons' of Hazelnut Coffeemate. (Fiiine, sometimes four.) It comes in at about 100 calories but it's the first thing I do when I get to work and I look forward to it, so I've determined its a non-negotiable and have worked it into my day.

    I put 1/2TSP of cinnamon in my coffee grounds each morning when I brew my coffee (makes a huge difference for me). I then use 2TBSP Fat Free Half-and-Half and 1.5 Ounces of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk for every 2 cups of coffee I drink. That, w/ four packets of Artificial Sweetener, = 35cals (for 2 cups):

    coffee = 5 cals
    cinnamon = 4 cals
    half-and-half = 20 cals
    Almond Milk = 6
    _______________________________> 35 cals

    If I need it to be a bit sweeter, I use 1 TBSP of Bailey's Almond Creamer instead of Half-and-Half; ups the calories to 40 calories (for 2 cups).

    I have coffee EVERY DAY so I needed to find a way to cut calories but still make it yummy!
    This has been the best way so far for me...

    I just finished brewing a good cup of cold brew actually! I find that cold brew makes the flavors really pop and the coffee becomes less bitter. Creamer wise, I like to use 2 cups of cashew milk to 1 ( or 2 ) cups of cold brew coffee. That might sound like a lot, but it ends up being super creamy and delicious. I like to add pure liquid stevia too, especially the flavored kinds. In total the coffee ends up only being around 50 calories which is pretty decent for 3+ cups of coffee to sip on.
