The ones i use have a little hook that I put on top of my ears and they work well for me!
It looks stupid at times though lol0 -
I had to get a new set.0

get the hook --- yes, it looks stupid, but no more so than a blue tooth thingy sticking out of your ear.0

I replaced mine with the ear buds from Skull Candy. I LOVE them!!!! A little more but totally worth it!0

Mine don't come out due to sweat as much as the wire moves around and pulls on them and it's just annoying to have to worry about all that. I've looked into wireless earbuds but they're expensive and I'm not sure if they'd bounce around on the back of my neck.... if anyone has any experience running with them I'd like to hear about it. I've also been looking into Yurbuds, they're expensive but they were designed by athletes and they twist & lock into your ear. Any reviews on those would be appreciated as well.
I know that wasn't very helpful but I'm soliciting info for you.... :happy:0 -

LOL you had me hit the screen to get rid of the "bug" n your signature ....hungover much???0 -
I have some that mold into the ear canal a little bit more than the standard iPod ear buds. They were $15 but worth it to me.0

Sounds like they are too big for your ears, try to find some with a better fit! Also for now you can try running the wire under your shirt and through the sleeve down your arm, that's what I do to keep me from accidentally pulling the wire.0

I love the ones from Skull Candy as well! I had a really hard time finding some that didn't fall out, but then I tried my teenage daughters on Spring Break and fell in love with them. I suggest those.0

I use an armband to hold my MP3 player on my off-arm so I can control the player with my dominant hand as I run. I also thread the earbuds up through my shirt sleeve and up the back side of my shirt to my ears. The excess cables tuck into the pouch on the armband and I can usually run several miles without losing an earbud.
I'm a guy so I can't talk about wires and bra straps and stuff. I'll leave that to the experienced female runners.

I switched to over the ear buds when I used to run because the regular buds fell out all of the time.0

Thanks everyone. I'll try hiding the wire tomorrow. The hook thing that a few of you were talking about sounds like something i need to get0

I use the ones that mold to your ear. I also use an arm band. I put my hair up in a ponytail and have a buff on for the shorter bits. What I do is put the ponytail on and then put the buds in my ears. Then I put the buff on to hold everything in place and wrap the extra wire around the ponytail band....it stays put. The buff holds the wire to the buds where you want them, even if you tuck the buff behind your ears. I found buffs at www.sahalie.com, or bike stores.

I have a pair with a hook that loop over my ear, otherwise they always fall out.0

Yep, I have to do the over the ear ones, too.0

Huuge music fan. everywhere I go, Blackberry loaded to the gills with mp3's...the headphones were an issue.
Until I found this:
The amazing thing about 'em is not the sound quality(which is stunning all across the usual EQ bands) , which really surprised me, but the way these things stay solidly in place.
Running, walking, lifting, dancing, heck, intense headbanging, these things won't move.
No pressure on the head, no pressure anywhere really, took me 5 minutes and it's like they're not even there.
water/sweat resistant.
A little pricey, but just so dang worth it.
