High Protein Diet for Vegetarian

    This is what I do: Greek yogurt, string cheese, Clif Builder's bars, plant-based protein powders with frozen fruit and almond milk in smoothies, quinoa salads, omelettes, cottage cheese, higher-protein breakfast cereals (Quaker oatmeal squares and Special K higher-protein varieties).

    Tempeh! I have to get ready to start my day so I can't find the original recipe I used and liked, but this ones sounds close (warning for swearing: http://www.thugkitchen.com/summer_tempeh_sammie).

    Are you doing a lot of weight training? I've read that's the only time that getting enough plant-based protein is a challenge.

    Mukimame. It's the shelled version of edamame (soy beans). 12gr protein in 1/2 cup serving for 120 calories. Find it with frozen vegetables. I just add a bit of salt, but you could use it like any other vegetable.
