Loose skin and cellulite

I'm hoping to find some hope from fellow "losers". I have 10 more pounds to lose before I reach my goal for shedding 30 pounds. Although I am thrilled with my achievement so far, I am so discouraged by the now saggy skin on my tummy and more pronounced cellulite on my thighs. Are there any non invasive treatments/ products out there that can actually help with this?

I'm similar to you and would also want to know what to do about it. I have a bit more to my goal - 30, lost 10 so far but my cellulite on my thighs is much more pronounced than 10lbs ago. It is just disgusting!

Cellulite does eventually minimize with proper nutrition and workouts . But there's really no magic pill or trick To get rid of it fully. Unfortunately it's the way the fat lays in ur bum and thighs. We all have it. No matter that size u are a 0 or 100 . And with lose skin sometimes it srinks back but it also depends on how fast you lost the weight and how much weight u have lost..

I have found time helps with the saggy skin -if you are younger. And slower weight loss helps. I'm 52 and my skin will not bounce back quick if much at all. For cellulite I have found that dry brushing and massage with a good oil does wonders. Just finding the time to do it and some privacy -is what's tough.

Cavitation, negative vacuum and radio frequency are life savers for me.

Nothing really gets rid of cellulite. Lowering your body fat% and/or getting into a healthy weight range can help. Weight training helps.

As I approached a healthy weight my loose fat started to jiggle a lot more, and (to my perception) my cellulite became more obvious than when I was bigger. It really did appear to get worse before it started to get better. Over the last few lbs (which I am taking off deliberately slowly), I have started to notice a very pleasing reduction in the cellulite on my butt and the back of my legs to the point that although there's still a fair bit of it and I don't expect to lose it, it's not really bothering me now. BMI is currently around 23.5.

I'll be 61 next week. I've lost 137 pounds and have some saggy fat pouches and a bit of loose skin. But i ran 2 miles today for the first time in my life, SO I DONT CARE!

    Awesome!
I am 64. Lost over 160# and have been maintaining for over 2 years @ around 130#. I DON'T CARE EITHER.
No where near perfect, but totally pleased with being less than 1/2 the person I used to be. I will take the imperfections over morbidly obese any day! :)

That's great for both of you and congratz. However I'm 30 years younger and do care. This post is more for advice how to get rid of it.

OP - creams don't work. There are procedures that you can get at the dermatologist or Med spa that will get rid of it, you just need multiple sessions. It costs about $200 a session, but they discount the price if you purchase a package. I would give it a year after you reach goal weight before doing anything to see if it resolves itself some.

Maybe you could talk to a plastic surgeon. They can do liposuction on problem areas. I think MorganMore is giving you good advice. Wait a year. It does shrink some, even on us old dinosaurs that are pleased as punch with our new selves.

They have noninvasive procedures that work well. I would research online thing like cool sculpting and Venus freeze - there may be others but those are the ones I've heard of. Haven't had it done myself, but came across it looking at kybella. I would absolutely read up on any procedure before getting it in real self.com. It's a great site, and there are tons of reviews and before and after images by people who have gotten the procedure. They also lost the average price, and specific information regarding the procedure. I have done a few reviews for stuff as well, though didn't post pics.

I struggle with cellulite (had it since before puberty) and I notice that it always makes a bigger appearance after I eat heavily processed foods or don't regularly work out for a few days. As for surgical methods, the reason women have cellulite is actually due to how the skin is structured, so even if you did get surgery, it could easily come back.

Do you do weights training? Deadlifts, squats, lunges have all helped me build muscle and reduce sag.

Weight training helped me tighten everything up and I also had Strawberry Laser Lipo. I had my thighs done when I first lost the weight, it made a big difference. I still wasn't thrilled and thought I was going to have to have a thigh tuck, but I have been weight training for a year and I am happy with them now.

Build more muscle, stay hydrated, eat less processed foods, and give it time. All good things take time!

I noticed the article mentioned Wobenzym. I do not know if any of these ideals are helpful but I did try Wobenzym for 30 days taking 20 tablets four times daily and had no negative side effect. They are part of one cancer treatment that I self tested for safety. Wobenzym has been around for about 75 years and are simply systemic enzymes that have a lot of research behind them from Germany where they are from.

Me too. I still have lumpy legs but between the weight loss and lifting weights it's slowly getting better.

Personally I think there has to be some give and take in weight loss. I have seen people that have lost large amounts of weight, and use weight training to achieve a more leaner look. I know, from watching "The Biggest Loser" on TV, that quick weight loss will result in hanging loose skin. So then they have skin removal which gives you scars, and there's that pain from healing. So do you mind some less firmer skin, to have a more healthy body? The real truth is that the body can't totally heal from all the damage of obesity, so I know when I get to my goal. I will take whatever reality my body decides to give me :-)
