I read article today. It explains (via a video) the need to verify some things. Good information overall. I am new to MFP.0

Whenever I eat something new I haven't had before I scan the barcode on the package then on the app press the nutrition button to expand the details. I check all the info in the database listing against the Nutrition Data label on the product. If it isn't correct I will either create a new entry or go to my computer and pull up the listing and use the edit button to correct the data in the listing.
For 3300 calories it sounds like someone mis-keyed it. Another reason that a listing can be wrong is the manufacturer has changed their product and the nutrition data has changed.0
