Hi I've just turned 39 and need to lose 30-40lbs. It's more health related but I do think the big 4-oh makes you realise you need to look after yourself so you don't age badly. My Mum has everything under the sun due to obesity and I don't want to end up in the pain and misery she's in. Friend me :-)

I just turned 41 and I have a 100 lb weight loss goal. I have lost 9 lbs of that so I still have quite a bit more to lose.

You've come to the right place! I turned 40 in October and in the new year I set a goal to get back to my normal weight again by Easter - I've lost it all and am maintaining since beginning of March. You just need to log, do exercise where you can and the biggest thing for me is weighing all my food

Remember to take your expectations realistically- the weight didnt go on overnight. Make small changes that can be lifetime changes. Good luck on your journey
