No luck. I don't know why but I can't do more than a sentence at a time!0

Basically wondering if I should do maintenance calories or continue at 2 lb a week?0

Ask the doctor, when at your appointment tomorrow, how many calories you should be consuming.0 -
Speak with your doctor, for sure, but do not actively try to lose weight while pregnant without your doctor's go ahead. Put yourself at maintenance for now and discuss your calorie needs with the doctor.0

Maintenance calories just seem so high that I was concerned about gaining too much. We've had 3 miscarriages and this one seems like it will finally stick so I don't want to do anything wrong! I'm still eating super healthy just a bit hungrier and the normal calories (1200-1400) isn't cutting it! Lol.0

It's not high. That's how many calories your body requires to maintain your current non-pregnant state.
General rule of thumb is:
First Trimester: No extra calories are to be added to your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure, aka, the calories you need to maintain your current weight)
Second Trimester: Add 350 calories to your TDEE
Third Trimester: Add 450 calories to your TDEE
I made a guide a while back, putting together stuff I came across over the course of my pregnancy.

Eat your maintenance calories. Don't cut corners out of fear of gaining too much, especially with your history. Talk it over, at length, with your OBGYN and get all of your questions answered. You could probably go as far as asking for a referral to a registered dietician that specializes in pregnancy.2 -

Such a good idea! I never thought about talking to a dietician. I'll definitely bring that up. Thanks for the information I appreciate it. That is a ton of information you rounded up. Thank you!1
