I am jennifer, 30 years old, 5'4" and stay at home mommy to 3 kids. I am just starting my new way of eating an exercising after having my last little one (he is 9 months old now). It wasn't until a child at my daughters school asked if I was having a baby that I realilzed I was still big. I currently weight 217.5 (at my last weigh in). I want to weigh 170 but I will take it one day at a time. I work out everyday for 30-60 mins depending on what I am doing. I am watching what I eat and logging everything. (Even the half of cookie I ate, my daughter asked me to take a bit and I couldn't stop).
I am looking for support to keep going because I am tired of listening to my dr tell me that I am fat and have to lose weight. I know this, not sure how I could forget. Most of my family is on the larger side so eating healthy isn't something I am accustom too. But that will change.
Any advise that people could give me would be great. I have a scale at home that does body fat and right now it reads 43% that is not ok with me. I am shooting for that to say under 30%.
I am truely more concerned about body fat than how much I weigh. I want to be able to be here for my kids and not be fat any longer. I have only gained more weight with each child and since we are done I have no excuse not to start working harder. Without childcare I have to take the kids with me to excercise so we walk to school everyday that is 2 miles round trip, I do walk away the pounds videos, and ab workouts.
If you have any ideas to help me or words of encoragement please let me know. I could use them.

Hi Jennifer,
I am Pam and I would be happy to encourage you. Although I am a good bit older (51) I am not very wise because I let my weight get way out of hand. I was at my heaviest 288 but now am in the 250's. This has been the most helpful thing I have ever done. I just log everything I eat and I make much wiser choices. I use the Lesllie Sansone walk away videos too. I was doing the two mile on a regular basis for awhile, and stopped walking, but since I have started back, I do the one mile and sometimes the two mile and it is getting easier and easier. I remember wishing I wouldn't embarrass my kids. Now, after a second round with breast cancer, I want to be healthy to enjoy life and hopefully grandkids one day. You can do this, and your kids will be healthier for it! Good luck! Pam0
