Question for the ladies!

Do you weigh more when on period? I googled and it says that before your period starts you may gain a couple lbs of water weight but it will leave soon as the period starts. I started yesterday, my weight has been the same for a week despite me working hard to lose. Could it be because I'm on my period? I know it's suppose to go back to normal once it starts

hormones will mostly likely play a part in water weight, just keep it up0

My weight takes 3-4 days to drop back down during my TOM. I find that keeping hydrated and light exercise helps it drop more quickly.0

We've been asking for it to be a sticky since March 30 but apparently the sticky nomination thread doesn't get read often: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/comment/35968318/#Comment_359683180 -
I started mine yesterday and have been up 4lbs for the last 4 days, it should disappear within the next few days. Completely normal OP0

Its why the scale for us women suck as long as you were losing weight beforehand, its not your diet. But if you're like me you can get the munchies! But again if you're logging everything and doing it correctly then it's just from that time of the month. Dont worry, it'll go away0

My mum does Slimming World and they have 'star week', periods absolutely can mess with how much you weigh0

I get water retention really bad. It starts a few days before & it takes a few days after to get back to normal. I don't weigh myself during that time, it just upsets me0
