Oh that's mean for those of us looking down the barrel of winter days... my favourite grape shop has closed for the season, it's getting dark in the mornings and I got rained on at my race this morning!
When summer comes back again in December I will be enjoying mangos, barbecues and other lovely fresh fruit and veg from my neighbourhood.0 -

Fresh garden tomatoes. I can just eat them whole with a sprinkle of salt. Yum.

kind of an oxymoron if you are eating seasonally then yes there are summer foods.. while all food can be grown all year some things are easily and cheaper to grow. Like cherries in the summer.. so summer food.0 -
Fruit in general, watermelon, peaches, plums, cherries, pretry much any thing that is seasonal. Corn on the cob! Anything BBQ or smoked.0
