Looking bigger than you are?

So I weigh 56kg and my bestfriend weighs 62kg which is crazy because she looks smaller than me. Everyone even says I look bigger than her. I do a lot of indoor cycling so my thighs are "big" and I wear 1 jean size bigger than my bestfriend so how is it possible that I weigh less than her?

She probably has a lower body fat percentage, so more of her weight is coming from lean muscle versus fat.
Your body also might carry the weight differently than hers which would impact things like pant size. Maybe you are pear shaped so more weight is in your hips and thighs while she has a more even distribution or apple shape.
Lots of possible factors, but I wouldn't get too hung up on the number! Work on making yourself healthy and feeling confident in the body YOU have! Comparisons suck.0
