Down 55lbs

Options
After being overweight for the last 14 years of my life, I wanted to share my progress over the last 8 months or so. I was able to drop 55lbs, and competed in my first Physique show at age 36.

I did this all through diet and exercise, without any supplementation, and with an extremely tight schedule. To give you a glimpse of my schedule, I have 3 kinds under the age of 6, my wife and I both own and operate our own businesses, and we volunteer time at our church on the weekends.

People often ask where I find the time. My answer is that I didn't find it, I made it. :)

Good luck to everyone out there working toward their ultimate fitness goal! You can do it!

Looks like quite a bit of existing muscle development in the first photo. Had you already been lifting for awhile before you decided to drop fat?

Lifting for more Han half of my life. Went through a mock powerlifting meet for a friends book prior to switching gears to fitness. So I put on a few lbs of muscle during that program.

Hey, would it be super crazy for me to ask what your daily or weekly schedule looks like? It sounds like you made the time by making fitness a priority (and it shows); I'm just looking for what your real-world, day to day looks like.
