    It's interesting. I've been on the internet for a while and on this forum in particular for years and I've never received unsolicited pics and only a couple of unsolicited sexual messages. That's not "just the way the internet is" in many corners of the net. It seems to be more "that's how some people are and it gets excused away on certain sites where they naturally tend to congregate because of it."

    I've never had a problem either. Report, then block. There will always be people who are inappropriate, on-line and IRL.

    Men don't have a monopoly on lonely and looking. I'm still saying I'd just join Tindr or something. Trolling weight loss websites probably wouldn't be my thing.

    I've had a few inappropriate messages over the years but the vast majority of people are awesome here. I've been here a long time and when people cross the line into areas i feel uncomfortable, i tell them it's making me uncomfortable and if it persists, they get deleted/blocked.
    In the 4 yrs i've been here that's happened twice. that's it.

    No it's there. I got one guy who friended me and chatted back and forth innocent until he took it somewhere else. Tons of junk in the chat or need friends section like "if the poster above you were a food what would they be" "if you had to say something to the poster above you what would you say?"

    It is just gross. Sometimes you don't even have to be in that section. I wasn't when some guy chatted me up. I have since taken down my picture.

    Just read OP's profile and I think someone may be a little sensitive at this point. One or two inappropriate messages does not equal a flood, just like one or two apple trees does not equal an orchard.
