I'm new to MFP and am searching for motivation... I see there are many challenge groups on here, but how do you choose the right one for you??

Hoping for some input to help me decide. I NEED to join one!! I'm very motivated right now but am only on day 3 of my journey. I'm a very competetive person so I know doing this will keep me in check.

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance,
Penny

Pick an area you struggle with, like fitness or drinking all your water.. then find other people who are doing a challenge that will help to keep you on track. The fitness message board is a good place to find some challenges to participate in. Pick one and make it a personal goal!

I didn't deliberately set out to find one but saw a thread called 'Twilight fans - get your vamp on by November'. I read through a little and really liked the positive and fun attitude of the group members so asked to join :)

I would just keep an eye on the 'motivation' section til you see something that appeals to you :)

depends what youj are looking for. I do one that goes weekly. it has both a food challenge and an exercise challenge each week. But it entirely depends whether youj want one that goes for short term or a longer one, whether you like food and exercise challenges and things like whether you want to be part of a team or individual
