Chronically ill trying to loose weight

I am chronically ill, I have postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (among other thing) it's part of dyautonomia I'm on heart meds and minalcorticosteriods (fludrocrotisone) among other meds which causes you to gain weight. I have been really trying to loose weight to no avail I am excerise intolerant. May be some support would be nice in my weight lose journey. Maybe their are others that are really trying but their medical condition keeps them from it. Some advise would be nice.

Opinion: 90% of the battle is the foods you eat.
    I lost weight without exercising.

no need to go low fat, sodium or anything else unless you have a condition to where you have to avoid it,you are intolerant/allergic to it, or advised by a dr to cut down. Its not going to make a difference otherwise. you have to have a decent amount of good fats.you also dont have to cut out anything and replace it with something else either. all that is needed is a caloric deficit to lose weight. sure its better and healthier to eat whole foods instead of junk, but its not going to halt weight loss.

There are mistakes that people commonly make that cause them to not lose weight that we might be able to spot if you change your Diary Sharing settings to Public: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

I can't exercise (hardly can walk even) due to sciatica. I'm losing weight no problem, just eating at deficit.

Most people underestimate how many calories they consume, which of course makes it harder to lose weight. So buy a digital food scale. Weigh everything you consume. :+1:

@ashleymontes9 that is a new one on me and it does sounds like an uphill battle. I have been living with a form of arthritis for 40 years that has totally colored my life. In 2014 I finally found a macro that manages my pain OK without Rx meds. Rx meds have done a lot of damage over the years but finally at 65 my health is improving.

There are many ways of eating and in time we often find a way that works for us. In my case it was finally Low Carb High Fat macro that started me on the road of recovery. Best of luck in finding what works for you.
