Losing some weight, not able to see it!

I started my weight loss journey at the end of January. In the last three months, I have lost 18 pounds. I feel more energetic and lighter as I move, however I can't feel my clothes getting any looser. The only thing keeping me going is the scale moving down slowly, but surely. Does anyone else feel like they had to hit a certain amount of lbs lost to really notice it?!

Yes. Start taking progress pics. Trust me, you'll notice then. I've lost about 45 lbs or so since December and looking in the mirror I don't notice a difference at all, but looking at my progress pics, it's definitely noticeable.

Small changes over long periods of time are hard to see, especially when you see yourself every day. Progress pic help by removing that pesky temporal factor.

Wow!! I will definitely have to start doing that. I feel like since I've been staring at myself with this weight for so long, it'll really take me dropping a LOT of weight to begin to notice. Thank you! And nice work on the 45 lbs!

Take measurements. neck, chest, waist, hips, thighs and arms at biceps. Measure each 30 days and You will see your progress.

I feel the same , even tho my clothes fit looser I don't see a difference. I've lost 13 lbs. I see a bit of a change in photos but I thought it'd be more dramatic than this.

Sometimes it takes a bit more loss to really notice. I'm down 15lbs and some of my jeans are tighter. It's because I'm loosing belly weight and my belly is actually looser and lower. I hate it, but I like WHY it's that way right now. So I've learned I'm going to wait on trying on more pants for a while, and go with with the scale, my waist measurement, and how some tops look much nicer on me.
