Folks,
I'm hoping someone out there can help. At the minute I'm looking at goal weights based on a chart in the docs office, but in reality I can't visualise these weights cause I don't know anyone who is my height.
Is there anyone out there who is 5ft tall and weights 10 stone, 9 stone etc who would be willing to share a picture to give me a visual idea of what this looks like?
I set my goal as 9 as it was the top end of the range for what the chart says I should be but everyone balks when I say that's my goal and tells me I'll be too skinny.
It would be a great help if you guys don't mind,
Eli

^^ yep, this site is a great way to get your answer
I'm 5ft 2 and was starting to look fairly slim at 10 stone. It took me getting under 9 1/2 stone to feel very slim. Yet I have 5ft - 5ft 2 friends who are around 7 1/2 stone. Everyone's ideal is different.0 -
oh good website, thanks.

9 stone 10 - 136lbs uk size 10
9 stone 5lbs - 131lbs UK size 8 to 10

Hi im 5ft. I once was 10 stone at my biggest. I suppose it depends on body composition but i looked really big. I was a size uk 14. Not sure if my big photos are still on my profile. For me:
10st= size 14
9st= size 12
8 st= size 10
7st= size 8
Below 7st = size 6.
I think size 6 suits my height and frame best. There is no way at 5ft you could be too skinny at 9 st but go with what feels best to you.

Awesome website! I've often thought MFP should have something similiar. It's great to see how the same height/weight can look different on different people.0 -

This has made me realise just how much different body types effect clothes sizes etc. I'm 5'1 and currently 10 stone 6, but I'm wearing uk size 10 jeans and in an 8-10 top (depending on the shop - big boobs!).
I have an hourglass figure so everything is baggy round my waist but snug over my thighs and boobs. My initial goal is 9 stone and I'll see how I feel when I get there but I don't plan to go any lower than 8 stone 7.
I think I'm one of those people who 'carries their weight well' as I've has lots of people tell me not to lose any more or I'll be too thin and don't believe I'm the weight I am.

Im an hourglass too and short waisted so i hear you on the baggy waists. I think im lucky that i have a small bust as it fits my petite frame. I have child size hands and feet and hat size. 7st is my upper limit, i feel too big above that. It maybe too slim for some peoples tastes but im not interested in pleasing them. Its what your comfortable with in the end.1

Absolutely! It's about feeling happy in your own skin - and that's different for each of us! You look great, and I love the dress in your picture!

Just as an example of how different we can look at similar heights
Here is a pic of me at 130lbs (9st 4lbs) before I lost weight, and 105lbs (7st 7lbs) just after I lost weight.
I have been maintaining for 6 yr with a range of 98-105lbs (7-7.5st). This is me on vacation this month at 105lbs.
Body composition, musculature, and bone size make deciding what your preferred weight will be very individual.

Thanks guys, this has been very helpful.

This website never worked for me. I enter my age, weight and height and they can't find any thing. Either it is not complete or I am a special snowflake.0 -
@Gisel2015 you are making a snowball because I don't get any results either.
I think our size, age, and weight are rarely photographed and posted.
