Polar FT7

I've been shopping for a new HRM, and I found a Polar FT7 (a red one no less, my favorite color!) on Academy.com's website for 89.99 (plus shipping), which is still $30 cheaper than Polar's website. Also, this website has them too, $82 with free shipping (black only): http://www.heartratemonitorsusa.com/polar-ft7.html?productid=polar-ft7&channelid=FROOG&utm_source=CSEs&utm_medium=GoogleShopping&utm_campaign=heartratemonitorsusa
I had a Reebok HRM (two actually), but have decided to go with a different brand. Hope this helps anyone that is looking for a new one. :drinker:

I was just searching for HRMs on Amazon, thanks!0

I picked up the FT7 at a local sporting goods store for around 90 bucks and I love it. I think you'll definitely be happy with whichever one you choose.0

Yeah, had this hrm for a while now and its great! bought it from amazon.co.uk though Ive noticed the female watches are more expensive than the male ones! No idea why lol0

Got my FT7 at Scheel's and have been very happy with mine!0

I've had the FT7 for about 4 months and it's perfect for me. Just the right features without the extra bells and whistles - cals burned, max/ave HR and a nice log of the last workouts.
My only comment (not a complaint) is that I can't seem to get the strap adjusted perfectly. It's either too tight or too loose and it slips while I'm jumping up and down.0 -
i have polar ft7 and LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE it...highly recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

I got the FT4 instead, seems to be pretty much the same aside from being able to upload training info to your computer, which I don't care for anyway.
I just found it on Amazon, the cheapest so far, $65 with free shipping! http://www.amazon.com/Polar-Womens-Heart-Monitor-Bronze/dp/B001U0OFD2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1309270623&sr=8-1 I ordered this one, and when I get it, I'll return the one I bought at Academy, which I paid $100 for.0 -

Why would you return the better polar HRM for the cheaper Polar HRM? The Ft7 monitors your VO2maxx which gives a more accurate calorie burn, while the FT4 does not monitor VO2Maxx. The FT7 also tracks 99 sessions and does upload data to your computer but you need to buy the optional flow link adapter.0 -
