I'd like to throw down a challenge to lose 8 lbs. by Mothers Day, May 8th. That's just under a month - two lbs. per week which is a very reachable goal if you are OBEDIENT! Ladies, do it for yourselves or significant others. Men, do it for your mom or your wife. I will hit this goal. Will you?

This is a more difficult goal than I thought! I am now at 180 - 3 lbs down in 13 days. Need to be at 175 - another 5 lbs - in 17 days. And I've been speed walking my tail off! 11 miles and 1800 calories yesterday! I burned 600 more than I ate! Since I started this little contest, I want to finish well - but it is going to be painful!!
My advice to all...lose the weight before you get older. I turned 60 this year and it is definitely harder to lose weight at this age. The old metabolism just ain't what it used to be! I want to get down to 170 and stay there...forever!0 -

Just about made it. Today's weigh in I was 184.7 just need a tenth of a pound by tomorrow and I'm golden. Didn't think I would make the challenge to be honest lol. I'm pretty happy right now !!! 9 more lbs to go for me to reach my goal. Woot woot0 -
