No appetite

This is gonna sound like a dumb moan but... I am barely eating 1000 calories during the week and still working out. Like tonight, I've had lots of fruit through the day and a big bowl of noodles for dinner. That's only 850 calories. I also went for a training walk. I am just not hungry. I am taking a multivitamin every day just in case.
Should I be worried??

you likely didn't get to the point of needing to lose weight by not being able to eat more than 850 calories per day...what changed?1

Do you weigh everything you eat on a food scale?
Do you log EVERY LITTLE THING that you eat? Condiments, drinks, etc.0 -
I log absolutely Everything. It's really quite addictive.
There was lots of free fruit at work today so I pigged out0 -
When you change your diet and start making better food choices, yes, 1000 calories can be filling. However, that filling feeling won't last and 850-1000 calories/day long term is not good.
Also, if you're eyeballing stuff you probably aren't really eating that little.4 -
Could it be a medication side-effect? If that's the case you kind of need to make yourself eat the extra few calories even though you aren't hungry.0

I was very cardio fit doing the first month of Insanity every other month. Then holidays happened and I just stopped working out and started eating for 2 months
Now I have a goal to be part of an ultra marathon relay team in 2017 so I need tostada running again. It's a whole different kind of fitness isn't it!! Haha. Bit of an eye opener.
So training walks Tues.-Thursday Friday rest day, Saturday long slow run/ run and fast walk (up to 7-10 miles now) Sunday Monday cardio30-40 mins.
Been doing that for 3 weeks now0 -
I'm sure it will work itself out and this is just a down turn of hunger that will come crashing back soon. I'm a great believer in listening to my body so if it's hungry I will eat.
Not eyeballing anything. It's all weighed and logged. I love the barcode scanner, it means I get the real values
No medication being taken, so no side effects.
I just wondered if others had this or if I am worrying about nothing0 -
I see this is 3 mos old, but I seem to be having same issue and wanted to know if your appetite has increased.0
-
Yep. Everything worked out. Weight loss stalled for a couple of weeks at some point as far as I remember.
Appetite returned to normal, trust in your hunger0 -
Lo0BLu, do you think that your hunger was overridden by your goals, psychological?
Glad things sorted themselves out.1 -
If you think eating 850 calories of anything is pigging out then you should probably seek professional help.1
