When im the only one

A couple months ago some friends and family members got a fit bit with me and we all were doing great...now that's not the case anymore. Out of our 12-15 person group there's only 3 of us left and 90% of the time the other two people just compete for the miles walked but not record food or calories.. So does it Really count? Like I said I'm the only one left and I'm soo frustrated I wanted to have this great support system and some competition (because I'm a VERY competitive person) and now seems like the only person I'm competing against is myself. When I fall off the wagon I have no one saying..."it's ok get back up" or "there's always tomorrow"...no one would care.
So how do you keep going?

Don't quit. Find a new group of friends...even if you don't know them to compete with. Maybe your old friends that have fallen off the wagon will get back on with your new friends. Again, don't quit!0

First of all, you're going to find the health and fitness journey to be a relatively lonely one...the vast majority of people aren't into fitness and nutrition and whatnot...so you're going to have to get used to that. In my experience, there's really no such thing as a great support system where this stuff is concerned...you have to do what you do because that's what you do.
As far as your two friends, they're moving...so of course it counts. I don't log anything...just because I don't log anything doesn't mean that my fitness and nutrition don't count.
As far as how do I keep going? Well, I like being fit and healthy and awesome.1 -
Agree with cwolfman.
Additionally, many people aren't going to want to compete with this kind of thing - it sounds fun to start out, but people soon get butt-hurt over not losing as much as their friend when they're so sure they're working harder than said friend, etc.1 -
You can add me as a friend here if you'd like. I can always use a little extra motivation and I love Fitbit challenges0

I'm doing this alone too and only doing home videos due to lack of space and money for gym0

I don't have a fit bit.
I decided to lose weight to improve my health. I log every day and keep going because I feel so much better every pound down. I keep going because it is important to me to acheive my goals.
My motivation is internal. Other people are not motivating. They don't care about what I'm doing. They are busy with their own things. I don't really care much about them either.
I don't know if doing this as a competition is helpful long term if you need someone else to care and keep you going. Maybe pay a personal trainer or join challenges with people from here.0
