So I wanted to know, say you burn a little under 3500 calories in a week is it possible to lose 3lbs if you didnt burn 3lbs worth of calories?

If you lose three pounds, you've burned that many calories. The numbers MFP gives you are estimates based on averages for people your size and age; you very well may burn more (or fewer) calories than MFP says.0

You won't lose 3lbs of fat. You could lose 3lbs but most of it would be water loss.0
