Sooo I feel a little slow lol but what is the 30 day shred?0
-
Yes what is it??0

Yay! Can't wait, will be great to get some support from people! 30 Day Shred is a Fitness DVD from Jillian Michaels0
-
The 30 Day Shred is a work out DVD from Jillian Michaels. (She is the female trainer from the Bigest Loser) It is a really good workout and it only takes 20 minutes a day! And I bought the DVD for $14.99 at Sports Authority. All you need is the DVD, and some hand weights. Its great you guys should do it!0
-
Ok when I get home Imma go Buy everything! It sounds fun =]0
-
Count me in too! Anyone know how many calories out burns for such a short workout?0
-
I did it for 3 days once & stopped. I think I'm gonna try again!0
-
You should! This will be my second try doing it... but Im sticking to it!!
Im not sure how many calories each workout burns...but I have been wondering the same thing0 -
I'm in!! I have been wanting to restart but haven't had the motivation to actually go ahead with it, this will definitely help keep me on track0
-
On sparkpeople site they say use it as 20 mins of circuit training0
-
Log it as circuit training and depending on your weight you'll get the calories burned.
I'm on day 18. Today I felt the need to take a break for the first time, and tomorrow i'll restart with plenty of energy...I hope!0 -

I have been doing it for two days now. With the warm up and cool down it comes to about 27 minutes total for level 1. Around here level one is free on Comcast On Demand Exercise TV...I 'll have to buy the video when I get to level two. I have worn my heart rate monitor the last two days and I burn around 220 calories doing level one from warm up through cool down. Of course, that number is different for everyone depending upon weight, sex, activity level, heart rate, etc...but that's what I've been burning doing it...if that helps.0 -
i do it as 20 mins of circuit and its about 190 calories i think.
I am aching a little but I like it, reminds me i'm changing. I just have to be bothered to do it as soon as I get in from riding my bike home from work on the nights that i am doing something, and i do amateur dramatics and dance so i'm out a lot of evenings! I'm so determined though! I've even taken a before picture and will take one every week to see how i progress0 -
with ya!!!!!0

Hi there,
There is another group of people starting on the 29th. I was planing on starting with them, but as the day has gone on I have become anxious to start tomorrow. I will join your group and start tomorrow. I can use the motivation from both groups. I need as much as I can get anyway. I am just starting this journey, for the 10th time this year may I add, and feel I need to stick with it for the long haul. I am ready to be serious so here I go commiting to this group. I AM IN!!!! Let the shredding begin! The other group is taking before and after photos so I will do that to. More motivation for me I think. So if anyone is interested on the group in doing the same I will and I will post the before and after photos- after I complete the shred of course.0 -
PS anyone who wants to feel free to add me, its amazing how much this site has motivated me :-) and friends seem to help0

hoping there's room for another?!
i've been hovering about this website all day trying to decide whether to go with the 30 day shred, ripped in 30 days or 30 day slimdown. finally decided to go with the 30 day shred. changed my mind a few times though! lol. but i can safely say....
I'M IN!
1st attempt for me by the way. but hoping to get through all 30 days. hopefully we can all encourage each other along the way!0 -
The more the merrier! I think we have a great group of people here and we can all help motivate each other! I definitely want to take before and after pics! Also, I have never taken measurements before but I want to this time. For anyone who has done this before... how do you go about deciding when to change to level 2? And then level 3? Also... Is this supposed to be 7 days a week or do you take a day to rest? Its been a while and I'm not remembering all the details!0
-
I'm kinda new but been lurking for a while! I have the 30 day shred and always gave up in the first week.... No excuses now... I'M IN!!0
-
I'll join you. I am on day 6 but I plan on doing it until the end of July.0
-
I would love to do it! But I'm not sure where to get the video.. Once I figure that out, I think I'm going to give it a try(:0
