Is 300 mg a good goal for cholesterol daily?

Dietary cholesterol intake really isn't much to be concerned about AS LONG AS you're consuming enough fiber. Soluble fiber binds to dietary cholesterol and helps excrete it from your body. Also, dietary cholesterol has very little impact (makes up about 15%) on blood cholesterol levels. If you want good blood cholesterol levels, step 1 is get to a healthy weight if you're not there already, exercise plenty, and make sure you're eating a balanced diet without too many carbs and you'll be good to go.

Thank you, AJ, I have a pretty healthy weight for my size, height, at 48 kg. I've recently revamped my diet by adding smoothies, legumes, fish, chicken, eggs, matcha tea , milk from non gmo cows etc. This after a recent first stage breast op! Using the app here, it states that my goal for cholesterol should be below 300 mg. I'm mostly below that but just wondering if this number means anything! I also don't always meet my protein goal unless I try very hard to eat more meat than veggies/fruits. How I feel is totally different- more energy, brainwork, more strength, less white hair, etc. is this a good enough indicator of health than trying to meet those goals meted out to me here?
