In my effort to make a lifestyle change I have been thinking about what exercises I enjoy. It has been stated that if you do an exercise that you enjoy you will do the exercise more often and for longer periods of time. I enjoy line dancing however is that considered an exercise and if so what intensity should it be given light or medium I know it's not heavy well it may be heavy what's your opinion?

I dance most every night after my regular workouts. Not line dancing but the idea is similar. I put my ear buds in and dance anywhere from 10-20 minutes. It's basically cardio. I find it also helps stretch out the muscles I've worked out.

I'm a dance teacher and I consider it a workout. I personally would describe line dancing as light intensity.
