Hmmm think you need to talk with your family and possibly your doctor to see if this is a good idea as you have food issues which may take a little time to sort out and work out how and most of all why these things came about. Good luck and say positive as we all have trials in our life and it's just one mans perception as to which are harder x x

You are so brave for even saying it out loud!! That is a huge step!! Congratulations!!

I am a binge eater myself. I have been going to weekly therapy to deal with the issues of why I lose control when it comes to food.

Write in a journal, talk to someone, be honest when you have a bad day.

I am so proud of you! You can do this!

My nutritionist reccommended this website to me...www.tcme.org

I wouldn't start now by losi ng weight, since this will be a trigger for you. i'd start but getting your life on track, and be able to eat w/o over doing it. getting therpy...etc, once you are stable in your mind about food, and what it means to you, you can start losing weight.

I know how you feel. I could eat a whole pizza on my own and still want more. I am still training my tummy to get use to not binging. But this is what I do. I like to drink 2 cups of water before I eat. Thats one way I try to get my water in if I didnt do this I would not drink 8 cups of water. Then I eat very slowly. I am listening to the signal that says hey your full you can stop now. Before when I started I would ask myself does my body really need this or do I want this. There is a big differance in want and need. I know that this is working for me because i had a cheat day and I went to a buffet and regualry I would eat 4 plates of food.( before I started to change my lifestyle) Now I just eat 2 and I feel so full. If you decide to try it I hope it works for you.

The book Brain Over Binge by Kathryn Hansen really helped me.
It's a "tough love" kind of a book though so be prepared, she makes alot of sense, though it's hard to hear. Still it did help me end my binge eating. I would highly recommend it and it's only $10 if you have a kindle or kindle app.
