So I have gained over 20 pounds and it all started when I began to eat normal food instead of diet food now that I've gained all this weight I am unhappy and need to get back on the band wagon this all started about two months ago and I need to lose the weight ASAP! Any tips?

Biggest tip! Get a food scale and weigh everything2

You can eat whatever type of food you want, however, if you consume more calories than you burn you will gain weight. Second the above suggestion, get a food scale and accurately measure and weigh your food, and log it into MFP. I'm primarily a vegetarian, and can easily gain weight if I eat more calories than I burn. It's happened, and fruits and veggies are what many people consider to be "diet" food. You need to teach yourself portions, the scale will help. Good luck!2

Don't limit yourself to "diet food". Eat the things you love, just less of them.3

Check the kitchenware section at Walmart. Found mine located in same aisle as measuring cups and such.0 -
I've cut back on carbs eating around 50g a day. Using regular salad dressing, heavy cream in my coffee and butter helps to keep me full. It was not easy giving up pasta, bread, potatoes and sweets, but it has been worth it.0

I bought mine at the grocery store for under $20.0 -

More than the 20 pounds you mentioned in your OP (opening post)? If you have only 20 pounds to lose, set your weight loss goal for only 0.5 to 1 pound per week. I know you're in a hurry, but overly aggressive goals like losing two pounds per week often cause people to flame out.0 -
Thank you everyone0
