beef is tastier. Chicken doesn't make me feel as *kitten* after eating 2lbs of it.

    Why not both?

I actually find them fairly comparable in terms of being filling. Which I pick really depends on what I feel like eating.

I've cut back on red meat considerably in the last couple of years. I don't miss it. I love a good burger sometimes, a roast and also love thick pork chops. But chicken and fish is all I eat most of time. Less calories!

In terms of satiety, I think they're about the same. I eat a lot of chicken...and a lot of fish...and usually steaks on Friday and I like grilling burgers on either Saturday or Sunday when the weather is nice.

Both. Anything with good amounts of protein and fat helps me to stay fuller longer, so I tend to eat fattier cuts of red meat and actually prefer the dark meat when eating chicken.

No difference. I eat a wide variety of meats -- lean beef, chicken, pork chops, lamb, lots of fish and shellfish. All about the same for satiety for me.

Chicken is generally cheaper than beef; otherwise, I'd eat beef all the time.

depends and both. I love that chicken is a blank canvas.. u will NEVER see me esting plain chicken breast. I LOVE grilled skirt steak marinated with lime chili garlic cilantro and grilled then used for tacos or salads. neither satisfy me more then the other.

I have both in my diet but I eat less beef because it is more expensive than chicken.

I think variety contributes to satiety, so I say "both", and add all the other meats, and all the other foods too.

Since my chicken or beef are consumed with a lot of vegetables, I just don't accuse the chicken or beef of filling me.

They are both the same. I just prefer chicken over beef. I am not a huge red meat fan.

    I eat a lot of chicken / turkey / pork / fish.

Chicken for me. Just because I have GERD and I'm suppose to minimize my beef intake.

So I just completely crossed out beef.

How can you claim beans are healthier as a blanket statement?

I imagine her claim has something to do with the fact that she is vegan.

there's nothing inherently unhealthy about chicken or beef...

I'm guessing you're vegan...you can always tell with the preachy soap box crap.

Now, now, there are plenty of non-preachy vegans :)

    Depends on the cut...

As a rule may treat is beef, but I eat chicken (thighs) three or more times a week.

I find them both to be about the same from a satiety standpoint.

I LOVE both, and before I would have normally opted for the beef over chicken. I do feel fuller with beef. Now I realize chicken is *generally* healthier/better for you, and eat more chicken. But, I still love beef. Both are great in moderation.

Depends. If I wrap the chicken with beef, I'm hungry layer. Vice versa, I'm not.

Both contribute well enough to feeling full. I tend to stay away from red meats because they make me sick sometimes. Turkey sausage is my best friend
