I've been in a 38" waist pant for a few years now. When I got up to 38, I knew things were a problem, but I could never bring my waist size down past a very tight (sucking-in) 36", on a good day.

I was at Old Navy buying a new pair of shorts this weekend, and I figured... I'm down a bit, let's try on a pair of 36's... so I do so, and I was very pleased to see that they were very loose on me. So I tried on a pair of 34" waist shorts... fit beautifully! (My wife said I had a nice butt in them...) :blushing:

I don't remember the last time I was in a pair of 34" waist shorts (10+ years, at least)!
