I never had to use a food scale before, i lost my first 30 pounds with things like measuring cups and just reading my packaging + exercise. But i'm getting down to my last 15 pounds or so and i'm curious if i should buy one.

Best purchase I ever made. ~$20
Bedbathbeyond Taylor scale.
Walmart and Target also have scales.
If you live anywhere near any civilization, a store will have them.
I think I even saw them at Aldi (I think).0 -
I got one that was less than $10 on amazon. Works great and made life way easier.0

I got a bunch in 3 years. The latest one is a Taylor from Target and I hate it because it won't always register something that is less than 5-10g... real pain. I had the same one before and it was fine though.
Just not much choice as it's often a last minute buy when my other scale dies.0 -
I purchased The MyWeigh Bakers Math Kitchen Scale for $35 on Amazon : http://amzn.to/1pDhdjf
I love it even though it's huge and takes up a ton of counter space.0 -
Still using my Weight Watchers food scale, even though I changed over to MFP quite a while ago.0

I like my Ozeri Pro a lot, got it off Amazon last year for 13 bucks. I think they're 15 now.0

I have got the Joseph Joseph tri-scale https://www.josephjoseph.com/en-gb/triscale - it's amazing and so space saving!0

A pretty aqua-blue one we found in Woolworths one day while grocery shopping.0

Martha Stewart from Macy's. I got it for Christmas a couple of years ago. I use it every day and it works great.

No idea what brand, but it's purple! LOL Bought it on Groupon for about $20. Just make sure your scale is digital and has a TARE button. Learn how to work the TARE button, it'll make things super easy.
Good luck!
ETA: I found it. It's an Escali. I like the flat scale best, as it's easier to set a plate or bowl on.

Bought it at Woolies for $15 - I liked it because it's flat, round and reliable. If I was going to buy another one, I'd get a longer one, or one with a pull-out display, because I can't currently sit my dinnerplates on it and see what the display says.0

I bought a cheapie $15 one at Walmart. It's a flat one, black, and it works great.0
