Years ago I was very active and never over 15 lbs over my ideal weight. Now with various treatments and forced menopause, I need to accept the fact I have to adjust my usual activities and focus on my nutrition.

I need to lose 30lbs, anyone with me?!?!

First thing is first i hope you are ok . I don't really know what to say and don't ever usually comment but just wanted to say if you want support or motivation feel free to add me. I can only hope you are not being harsh on yourself. this is something out of your control. the most important is making sure you are looking after yourself and have a supported and loving environment. this should be a lifestyle goal to make sure you are at your best to fight. I have had weight issues because i'm a slob and have no control. so please don't be hard on yourself. Nutrition is a good way you are absolutely right it's best not to push yourself over the limits. I hear many success stories with people with health issues and changed their food habits and lost weight. Also might be a good idea to REPOST THIS I THINK IT MAY NOT GET THE ATTENTION IT DESERVES BECAUSE LOADS OF OTHERS HAVE POSTED AROUND THE SAME TIME. Please take care. I'm sorry i don't have better advice still learning myself. Just eat good food, vegetables fruits put back what your body is losing. see a nutritionist . <3<3

oh, thanks for the kind words. I've been dealing with this for 12 years, the last four have been on a long term regimen. At some point you do need to be hard on yourself, because you can continue making excuses. Maybe I should have titled it long term health issues, because I think rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, or Lupus might have similar frustrations. I've thought about consulting a nutritionist.....I'm finding it impossible to get enough fiber and calcium on my lower calorie needs......hrumpf
