I like this recipe. Approximately 350 calories and only 2.5 net grams of carbs.

My blood sugar was prediabetic. Cutting down how many carbs I ate and combining what carbs I ate with protein and fat helps me a lot.

O wow love the recepie can't wait to try it. I feel I'm starting a long journey against a raging river. It's going to be hard not eating tortillas, bread and white rice. I'm a beaner raised with pan dulce, quesadillas and delicious tamales. The pre diabetic high cholesterol and potential problems with my liver and kidney do scare me though.

Can anyone recommend good beginner weight training videos. My doc said cardio is not enough. I'm afraid of bulky muscles though. Long and lean is what I'd like even if I'm only 5'2" =) the long... I'll wear heals
